These vitamins do seem to help alleviate irritability & anxiousness. I felt much calmer in situations that in the past would make me anxious. My daughter found them helpful during her testing at school as well. The capsules were very easy to swallow. A bit on the smaller size. Would recommend.

A noticeable difference!

Ashwagandha root is also known as "Indian ginseng" or "winter cherry" and has a multitude of health benefits and clinically shown to relieve stress and anxiety, lowers blood sugar and fat, increases muscle and strength, and improves focus/memory. This supplement comes well-packaged with a tamper resistant seal. After taking this supplement, I noticed a couple of things:1) Improved mood. I don't think that's part of the indications of the supplement, or perhaps it's part of the effects of improvement in focus/memory or mental sharpness, but I noticed my overall mood improved.2) Better Sleep. I generally wake up at least once in the middle of the night but after taking this supplement, I was able to sleep throughout the night or if I do wake up, I fall back asleep right away.As for dosage, I read online that "bodies may not absorb all of a 300-milligram dose of ashwagandha, for example. Larger doses may even trigger unwanted side effects, such as vomiting and diarrhea." The dosage in this product is 625mg of ashwagandha so I've only been taking 1 capsule per day and not the 1-2 capsules as per the product recommendation. I have not experienced any vomiting or diarrhea after taking these.I think it's hard to determine its blood sugar and muscle building capacities without using it over a period of time. But short term, this has been for mood improvement and sleep. I think this supplement would work differently for different people, but for me it has worked quite well and I will continue to take this over time.

Did not notice a difference

I am almost 1 month in and have not seen any difference. So all the hype seems to be for nuthing.
