Breathing Technique #1

The Physiological Sigh

```
A simple breathing exercise that uses two inhales followed by one long exhale to help your body slow down and reset.
```

How The Physiological Sigh Works

```
The physiological sigh follows a short, natural breathing pattern:
1. Take a deep inhale
Breathe in through your nose and fill your lungs.
2. Add a second small inhale
Before exhaling, take one extra short inhale to top up the breath.
3. Exhale slowly
Let the breath out slowly and fully through your mouth.
```

A Fast Reset When You Need It

```
Use this practice when you feel tense, overstimulated, or in need of a short calming pause. One to three rounds is often enough to help you feel more settled.
```

Quick Practice Guide

```
Inhale deeply through your nose. Take a second short inhale. Then exhale slowly through your mouth. Repeat gently.
```

This breathing exercise is for general wellness education only and is not medical advice. If you feel dizzy, uncomfortable, or short of breath, stop and return to normal breathing.
